Decision Trail, a decision-tracking plugin, was created during a 3-week sprint in collaboration with AND Digital as part of Ironhack’s UX/UI Bootcamp. The brief asked for a collaborative tool that supports transparency, traceability, and audit of team decisions—particularly for users in regulated environments.
“Working on this challenge sharpened our ability to translate regulatory complexity into intuitive user flows. By iterating through real feedback and aligning with Atlassian's systems, we delivered a decision-making plugin that felt both native and scalable.”

- Decision Architecture Design: Led the design of mid- and high-fidelity wireframes to support traceable decision-making, integrating user journey pain points into card-based flows.
- Information Architecture Refinement: Conducted card sorting with 14 users and heuristic analysis to clarify navigation patterns, resulting in measurable gains in task search and efficiency.
- Usability & Testing Strategy: Executed three testing rounds with 54 users using Maze, increasing task completion rates by 25% and uncovering friction points in record creation and retrieval.
- Design System Alignment: Built an Atlassian-aligned component library to ensure consistency and scalability, incorporating design tokens and UI patterns native to Jira and Confluence.
- Plugin Integration Thinking: Co-developed a Confluence/Jira- compatible prototype plugin that streamlined decision documentation for teams in regulated industries.
